
Garlic and Lemon Shrimp Scampi
Tender shrimp are bathed in a vibrant sauce of melted butter, garlic, white wine, and fresh lemon zest. This classic preparation comes together in just over twenty minutes.

- 1 lb pasta · linguini, angel hair, or spaghetti
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4-6 garlic · minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or broth
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 pounds large shrimp · peeled and deveined
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- fresh lemon juice · to taste

Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente, reserving 1 cup of the hot pasta water before draining.
