Snickers-Style Chocolate Bark
This plant-based confection combines the flavors of a classic candy bar into a simple frozen bark. It features a base of melted chocolate swirled with date caramel, creamy peanut butter, and a crunchy topping of roasted nuts.
Ingrédients
- 1/4 cup date caramel
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup salted peanut butter
- 1/3 cup chopped roasted salted peanuts · chopped
- flaky sea salt
Préparation
- 1
Prepare the date caramel and set aside 1/4 cup. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Place the chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, melt over a double boiler on the stovetop.
- 3
Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it into a thin, even layer while leaving a 1-inch border from the edges.
- 4
Dollop the date caramel across the chocolate in 1-teaspoon portions, then use the back of a spoon to swirl it into the bark.
- 5
Distribute spoonfuls of peanut butter over the surface and use a knife to create swirling patterns throughout the chocolate base.
- 6
Sprinkle the chopped peanuts and flaky sea salt over the top, then transfer to the freezer for approximately 1 hour until firm. Once set, break the bark into smaller pieces and keep stored in the freezer.
